Chemical peels are preformed in-office by trained licensed estheticians. They consist of applying a solution of chemical active ingredients intended to exfoliate under controlled conditions and thus stimulate cellular renewal.

BIOMEDIC® MICROPEEL -- Safe, effective, and it has immediate results. It includes Glycolic acid and Lactic acid which treats all skin types and skin colors. There is no downtime and includes a unique treatment with physical and chemical exfoliation for effective correction.

The exclusive 3-step epidermal peel:

Dead cell layers are removed by dermaplaning
An alpha-hydroxy acid solution is applied to the skin for exfoliation and then it is neutralized.
Lastly, Cryogenic Therapy is a freezing process that relieves inflammation and cooling of the skin.

BIOMEDIC® MICROPEEL PLUS -- Safe, effective, and shows enhanced results 7-10 days after your first treatment. It is very similar to the Micropeel and it refines skins textures, smoothes fine lines, and reduces appearances of scars/facial damage. It takes 15 minutes in-office and in one week after the procedure your skin will go through a renewal process.

The exclusive 1-step chemical peel:

First you cleanse and degrease the skin in order to evenly apply the Micropeel plus solution.
The solution will neutralize itself and become in active when optimal level has been reached.
The skin is gently rinsed and ready to go.

SKIN MEDICA VITALIZE PEEL® -- This is a unique blend providing a strong, gentle treatment for all skin types that enhances the benefits of alpha-hydroxy. This peel has been proven to help reduce the signs of aging. It also improves those that have sun-damage, aging, blemish-prone, acne scarring skin, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and poor skin. This provides immediate results and only takes about 20 minutes. You will notice an improvement in your skin’s texture, tone, fine lines, and a youthful appearance.

OBAGI® BLUE PEEL -- This in-office procedure that improves the appearance and health of your skin, using a low concentration of trichloroacetic acid mix with a special blue base. This peel allows your esthetician to monitor your skin layers in order to effectively remove thin layers of aged/damaged skin. The dead skin cells are replaced by healthier ones enhancing your skins clarity and tightness. The procedure usually takes about 20 minutes and is preformed on the neck, chest, hands, back, arms, and legs. Afterward a bluish tint will remain on your skin for about 12 to 24 hours until washed thoroughly. Afterward your will have slight swelling and peeling for several days although you will be healed in 7 to 10 days. After peeling you will notice dramatic results including an improved complexion, firmer, clearer, smoother, and healthier skin.

Fotofacial/Photorejuvenation, IPL "Intensed Pulse Light" is a treatment that can help lessen and reduce a variety of benign skin conditions, such as facial imperfections, signs of aging, birthmarks, unwanted hair, small veins and other blemishes. IPL can also help with enlarged pores, dull complexions, dark spots, freckles and dark circles underneath the eyes. Sun damage and photo-aging can detract from your well being and appearance, no matter how healthy and young you feel. IPL technology helps create smoother-looking skin. After a series of treatments, you can see a significant reduction of unwanted pigmentation. The same treatment can be used effectively on the neck, chest, arms and hands.

Benign Vascular Lesions: Broken Veins and Capillaries
The face has an extensive network of veins and tiny blood vessels called capillaries. Over time, aging, trauma, sun exposure, and certain lifestyle factors cause a number of them to break appearing as red streaks or blotches on the face. IPL therapy can eliminate damaged veins and capillaries by removing virtually all traces of these unsightly blemishes.

Redness Caused by Broken Capillaries
Many people suffer from broken capillaries and diffuse erythema, which cause them social embarrassment. For both women and men, IPL can successfully treat dilated blood vessels without injuring the surrounding healthy skin. It may take 5 to 7 treatments with "no downtime"! You may apply makeup afterwards and return to work or normal activities.

PERMANENT MAKEUP

Permanent Cosmetic Make-up is a procedure where pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin. The advantages of being permanent are waterproof color, hassle-free and it will always be fresh. Single use sterile materials are used with each application and strict sanitation/ sterilization guidelines are followed in accordance with OSHA and the CDC. The most commonly requested procedures are eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip color. It generally takes 1 - 2 hours a piece.

IPL HAIR REMOVAL

IPL (Intensed Pulse Light) Hair Removal. Highly controlled flashes of light are selectively absorbed by hair-filled follicles lying below the surface of the skin. The absorbed light heats the hair, which damages or destroys the regrowth potential of the follicle, all without damaging the surrounding tissue.

Your treatment begins by trimming away the hair above the skin. You may be asked to wear dark glasses to protect your eyes from the bright light. Next, a cold gel (similar to ultrasound gel) may be spread over the treatment area. The IPL hand piece is then applied to your skin and pulses of light begin disabling your unwanted hair. When the gel is removed, much of the hair is wiped off with it. The remaining hair in the treated area falls out over the next week or two.

IPL's unique design offers you customized treatment according to your hair color, texture and the location of body hair. Any hair with at least some pigment in it (black, brown, red and even blond) can be treated effectively. IPL technology has been proven to create a permanent reduction in the number of regrowing hairs following each treatment in most skin types. The number of treatments required depends on several factors related to your specific kind of hair and skin. A customized treatment program will be designed for you along with an estimate of how many treatments you may need in order to meet your expectations.
